The Company is committed to continuously improving the environmental performance of its processes, implementing the best technologies available and acting responsibly to preserve natural resources. To this end, it has adopted
World Class Manufacturing (WCM), an innovative program for continuous improvement.
The objectives of WCM are: zero injuries, zero defects, zero breakdowns, zero waste, reduced inventories, and punctual delivery of parts by suppliers to plants, dealers and end users.
The WCM system cuts across all Company functions and is applied to all departments, embracing ten topics (known as pillars), including safety in the workplace, the environment, quality, logistics, in-house and specialist maintenance, human resources, and process and product engineering.
As of 2016, CNH Industrial has set 20 long-term targets linked to the United Nation’s
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
