Upskilling the future of India’s construction industry

Since the start of last year our CASE Construction Equipment brand’s skill project has overseen the training of 244 young people from underprivileged backgrounds.

This corporate social responsibility project provides a month of backhoe loader training, including theory and practical modules.

Following an assessment, students are recommended for roles either at CASE or outside of the company.

In the last year, 177 young people have secured employment in the construction industry thanks to this initiative.

“Our vision for the next five years is expanding this concept of a skills center, with the aid of our dealers and suppliers, to make India a land of skills and opportunity,” said Puneet Vidyarthi, CASE Brand Marketing, India.

This program, which teaches young people new skills to grow their careers in the construction industry, is further evidence of how CNH stands with the world’s farmers and construction workers.
