CNH INDUSTRIAL ANNOUNCES UPDATES ON THE SITUATION IN ITALY IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

In light of the continuing state of emergency linked to COVID-19, CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI / MI: CNHI) today announces that the suspension of its assembly operations in Italy, communicated on March 20 and initially scheduled for two weeks, will continue for a further two weeks, until April 17. Subsequent updates will be issued based on the development of the situation.
In this period, and on the basis of the regulatory context and continuously evolving best practices, the Company will continue to update and improve its safety standards and equipment to effectively resume operations as soon as possible.
Furthermore, the Company is continuing to ensure Italian and European parts depots and service facilities remain operational, having implemented all the safety, containment and prevention measures mandated by law and agreed with the workforce. This will enable end customers to continue to safely operate their fleets of agricultural and construction machinery and commercial vehicles during this period.
In the context of the constructive and ongoing dialogue started at the beginning of the COVID-19 emergency, the trade unions were informed of the Company’s decision.
