LUGANO, Switzerland - (May 27, 2008) - New Holland, a global manufacturer and seller of agricultural equipment, part of CNH (NYSE:CNH) and Fiat Group (FIA.MI), participated from May 13-16, 2008 at the Nampo Agricultural Show which takes place annually outside Bothaville in South Africa.

Today the Nampo Agricultural Trade Show is considered to be one of the largest of its kind in the world and is highly regarded by both local and overseas farmers and businessmen alike. The Nampo Agricultural Trade Show draws more than 500 exhibitors, spread over 24 hectares, and the demonstration area covers 80 hectares. The unique demonstration programme, that allows practical hands-on demonstrations in addition to the static exhibits as well as a full programme of controlled demonstrations in the fields, provides exhibitors with a unique marketing opportunity.

New Holland brand was on display, through its partnership with a New Holland South Africa distributor, on a surface of 2,500 square metres. The brand launched the new TT 3880 and TT 3840 tractors produced in Brazil. These versatile, agile and rugged units are available in two models with 55 and 75 hp, and the equipment is suitable to easily work in orchards. The New Holland stand counted the highest number of products, 25, on display at the show. Iveco, the Fiat Group company leader in the transportation sector, and New Holland Construction were present as well, through their distributors, with their stands and products.

New Holland Agriculture commercializes in South Africa a wide range of tractors, combines, balers, hay & forage equipment, grape harvesters and implements.

The brand's operations in Africa are managed from the CNH International Africa, Middle East & Central Asia offices in Istanbul, Turkey and from the recently opened office in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company is present in 41 of the 56 African countries with 68 distributors and is constantly strengthening its distribution network.

New Holland Agriculture is among the major players in Africa and is currently among the leaders of the South African market in the tractor, combine and baler segments.
