CAROL STREAM, ILL - (September 24, 2008) - A Kobelco SK 330 excavator could be seen this summer hard at work at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Chiefs football team. It was taking part in a major structural renovation project that foresees doubling the stadium's concourse space, additional concession stands, new suite, club and lounge areas, and a Hall of Fame to celebrate the team's past players and coaches.

Kobelco customer George Shaw Construction was contracted to carry out ground preparation work for the $375 million project, which is scheduled for completion in 2010. The contractor, who runs a fleet of Kobelco excavators, dedicated an SK330 to complete this job, which required precision and high productivity.
