In Turkmenistan the Brand, awarded with the best stand prize at the exhibition, introduced its new hay and forage tools to further answer the market's agricultural needs
LUGANO, Switzerland - (December 3, 2009) - New Holland Agriculture, a global manufacturer and seller of agricultural equipment, introduced a new range of hay and forage products at the recent Agricultural Exhibition in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
New Holland Agriculture's commitment in the country reflects the solid long-term cooperation established between CNH and the Turkmen government. CNH actively participated in the CIS agricultural forum, organized within the Exhibition, with a presentation focused on the modernization of agricultural equipment for Turkmenistan's soil conditions, attended by Mario Gasparri, CNH Vice President Agricultural Operations and other members of the CNH senior management team.
New Holland offers a wide selection of implements for all farming operations. As the livestock sector is of growing importance in the Country, the Brand is supporting the Government's initiative in this agribusiness sector. The new machinery presented at the show, which is all manufactured at the plant in New Holland, Pennsylvania, USA, included the disc mower H6750, designed to breeze through the toughest field conditions, the pull type forage harvester FP230 that delivers high-capacity cutting performance and the small square baler BC5070, which accounts for New Holland's long standing leadership in this segment.
Additional products displayed at the exhibition, and already well known in the market, were the 241 horsepower CS6050 and the 318 horsepower CX8040 combines for harvesting rice and wheat. Extensively tested in Turkmen fields, New Holland combines assure best-in- class operations in terms of field performance, reliability and fuel consumption.
New Holland has been awarded as the 'Best Stand' at the Ashgabat show.
The Brand has a long history in the Country and is committed to providing comprehensive solutions to the agribusiness sector with quality products and after sales activities aimed at matching specific customer requirements. The prompt availability of parts together with service support and training activities have the objective of assisting the Country's agricultural growth.
New Holland BC 5070 Small Square Baler
Designed to breeze through the toughest conditions, wet grasses or fire ant hills, New Holland disc mowers provide nonstop, trouble-free cutting. Available in cutting widths from 2.00 to 3.2 meters, customer will find the machine to match any cutting job and fit any budget.
The new BC 5070 Small Square Baler presents a new style, improved bale length control, serviceability and reliability. It features wide Super Sweep pickups. The pickup for the BC5070 measures 1.9 m across; 2 m with the flare.
Pair this wider pickup area with the exclusive action of the Super Sweep pickup, and the user will get the extra crop that's missed by conventional pickups. Multiple rows of pickup teeth work between narrow flanged guards, saving stems and protein-rich leaves. Pickup teeth are made of durable music wire for extra long life. Guards also protect tines from damage. A floating wind guard (13-rod on the BC5070) ensures that the windrow is fed smoothly. The pickup gauge wheel guides the pickup across the changing terrain and is easily adjustable to five positions. High-strength steel is used throughout the plunger mechanism for reliable baling. Plunger rails have been repositioned to eliminate grooving in the bale.
Reliable twine knotters or wire twisters go thousands of bales without a miss. Knotters have hard-surface material at important wear points for long life and smooth tying.
BC5070 is equipped with the exclusive New Holland rotary feeding system which is durable, reliable, easy to service and easy to adjust. It produces a smoother, even flow of material through the baler that reduces leaf loss and produces uniform, high quality bales.
New Holland Pull Type Forage Harvester FP230
This is a heavy-duty performer that has been thoroughly tested to match today's high-horsepower tractors. This model features wide, rugged 12-knife cutter heads built available in cutting widths of 648mm, for efficient chopping.
A uniform length of cut not only yields high-quality feed, it makes everything easier: unloading, blowing, storing and feeding. The key to a consistent chop is smooth crop flow through the forage harvester.
The heart of New Holland forage harvesters is the massive, 12-knife cutter head that's built to move more crop and chop it uniformly using full-width, spiral, hardened-alloy knives with tungsten edges. Producing high-quality feed with less power and less fuel, there's simply no better cutter head and none that's easier to sharpen. The built-in knife sharpener and easy-to-adjust shear bar ensure chopping at peak efficiency. A shear bolt protects the driveline if a foreign object hits the cutter head.
Lightweight, hinged shielding and exclusive flip-up feed rolls provide easy access to all major components. For added peace of mind, a user can rely on the Metalert® III electronic metal detector to protect livestock from hardware disease and protect the cutter head from damage. For added versatility, the FP230 can be equipped with New Holland's optional CropPro® onboard crop processor. CropPro makes corn silage that?s easier to digest, which helps increase milk production and eliminates the expense and process time of a stationary roller mill.
New Holland Disc Mower H6750
Designed to breeze through the toughest conditions, wet grasses or fire ant hills, New Holland disc mowers provide nonstop, trouble-free cutting. Available in cutting widths from 2.00 to 3.2 meters, customer will find the machine to match any cutting job and fit any budget.
To tackle the heaviest mowing jobs New Holland presents the H6750 heavy-duty disc mower. With the proven MowMax? cutter bar, they deliver fast, dependable cutting through the worst field conditions. Dense crop or small piles of mud won't slow these mowers.
The latest advance in true modular cutter bar technology, the MowMax cutterbar comes standard on the heavy-duty disc mower. Each disc unit is an individually sealed gear case with dedicated oil reservoir so there is never an oil starvation issue, even on slopes.
MowMax cutter bars are equipped with ShockPRO? disc drive hubs, which absorb the impact of a foreign object before damage to the drive can occur. When necessary, ShockPRO hubs can easily be replaced in the field in under 10 minutes, at minimal cost. The cutter bar can move vertically over field obstructions thanks to a flotation spring on H6750 mounted mower. In addition, a spring-loaded breakaway latch allows the cutter bar to swing back if it hits an immoveable object.
Checking tension or changing knives is easy on these mowers. An exclusive V-belt tension spring with an easy-to-see indicator lets an operator check belt tension at a glance. Adjusting tension is easy, with just the turn of a nut. Knives have two cutting edges, for twice the cutting life, and can be easily flipped or replaced from the front of the cutter bar by removing only one bolt.
