CNH ANNOUNCES EXTENSION OF ITS SENIOR NOTES EXCHANGE OFFER

BURR RIDGE, IL - (May 13, 2010) - CNH Global N.V. (NYSE: CNH) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Case New Holland Inc., has extended the expiration date of its offer to exchange up to $1,000,000,000 in aggregate principal amount of its 7 ¾% Senior Notes due 2013 that have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, for its outstanding unregistered 7 ¾% Senior Notes due 2013.
The exchange offer, which was originally scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on May 13, 2010, will now expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on May 26, 2010. Based on a preliminary count by the exchange agent for the exchange offer, through 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on May 13, 2010, $989,638,000 in aggregate principal amount of the outstanding 7 ¾% Senior Notes due 2013 have been tendered and delivered to the exchange agent, $16,796,000 in aggregate principal amount of such Notes have been tendered to the exchange agent through notice of guaranteed delivery, and $1,250,000 in aggregate principal amount of such Notes have been withdrawn by the holders thereof.
