​​At CNH Industrial, a key priority is to combat ​climate change, a global challenge aligned with SDG 13 'Climate action' whose negative impact on ecosystems affects the quality of life of people in local communities, as well as consumer choices. For this reason, the Company increasingly focuses on projects to reduce its plants' environmental impact, including on local communities, along with projects to help protect them against the effects of climate change, such as desertification, water scarcity, and the loss of biodiversity.​

Kebili, located in south-west Tunisia, is one of the hottest places on earth, and is prone to both extreme drought and devastating floods. In this episode of Behind the Wheel, CNH Industrial, through its New Holland Agriculture Brand, co-sponsored a joint water-management project and sustainability initiative together with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries and Tunisia’s Directorate General for Land Use Planning and Conservation.
